Merry Christmas!
The Stone family had another fun visit to the midwest! It started with a quick visit at our friends Sara and Will's new home in Chicago. They were gracious enough to host us for dinner along with Missy, her son Zack, and Karen. Unfortunately our visit was too quick as we had to get on the road to Fort Wayne, Indiana (Bryan's hometown.) The drive was not without its obstacles though as we drove for 5 hours in a heavy snowstorm. The snow was coming down so fast we could hardly see in front of us. The drive was well worth it though as we were able to spend some quality time with MiMi, Poppi, and Aunt Jac! The Stone's also hosted an open house so we could enjoy visiting with many of our friends and family and introduce Gavin to all of them. Gavin also rolled over for the first time...it was very exciting!
From Fort Wayne we drove 3 hours to Terre Haute, Indiana to visit NaNa and Grandpa Bob. Fortunately the drive was without a single snowflake! Gavin had a great time playing with the dogs and making funny faces with his NaNa. We then spent a few nights at the Buss family home. My niece Tyra was so excited to meet her baby cousin and was a pro when it came to playing with him and feeding him. It is too bad we don't live closer as we would have a great babysitter!!!! I think my nephews, Tyler and Kyle, enjoyed meeting lil' G as well. We passed the time by playing lots of games, watching Kyle play in a basketball tournament, and laughing a lot about everything.

Finally it was back up to Chicago. Before our flight to Seattle, we enjoyed a nice brunch with some of my oldest and dearest friends. We had quite an adventure and for the most part Gavin was a trooper. He slept for a majority of our long car rides and enjoyed being the center of attention every where we went. Unfortunately he caught his first real cold while we were visiting so the flight home was not too pleasant. Gavin exercised his lungs most of the flight. He would only settle down if I sang to him, so there was a lot of "head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees and toes.........."
We had a great time and miss everyone so much!!!! Gavin is a lucky boy to be so loved by so many people! You can check out more photos of our trip in our photo album to the right.

Hi Guys, Thanks for sharing your Christmas '07 memories. It is so great to relive your visit through photos. We miss you so much already. Our house is way to quiet with only the pitter patter of Bogie and Tanner feet. No baby Gavin sounds like coos, giggles and, of course, that infamous screamer. Yes --- we are definately having little "G" withdrawals. He is such a good baby and a real trooper to put up with all that travel. We hope all is somewhat back to normal by now and Gavin is back on schedule. Ya right!
Love, Nana and Grandpa Bob
PS. Tyra and I are making plans to visit soon.
