Annual Midwest Vacation

We spent 2 weeks in the midwest visiting family and celebrating the marriage of my nephew! We had a lot of fun and it was so amazing to watch Gavin enjoy his grandparents and cousins. He was entertained A LOT and I think he really enjoyed himself. Below are LOTS and LOTS of pics, from start to finish, of our vacation. (More will be coming to the photo album shortly but my computer is not cooperating right now!)

The highlight of the vacation for Gavin I think was riding in a "really really big plane!"
We made a pit stop at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The museum is amazing! Here is a pic of Gavin running through the maze of mirrors.

From Chicago we drove to Bryan's parents house at Adam's Lake. Gavin was greeted with his own "Camp Gavin" set....tent, games, bug catchers, binoculors.....pretty exciting!

Riding the golf cart with MiMi was a highlight each day....and playing with the "white dogs" too.

Gavin and Poppi making some home made strawberry ice cream. Yum!

Roasting some marshmellows for s'mores. Unfortunately they were a bit too sticky for Gavin's liking but he enjoyed heating them up anyway!

Real jet ski ride this year. Gavin attempted a ride last year but didn't like it too much. This year, Gavin couldn't get enough of the jet ski. In his own words after the first ride..."Mom, it was just a teeny tiny bit scary."

Gavin and Brenna....these two have birthdays only 8 days apart. It was great watching them interact!

Mealtime is less than desirable for Gavin (and for mom and dad). Here is a funny pic of Gavin having to eat his dinner...the look of disappointment is just too funny!

Gavin hangin' with his Aunt Jac!

From Adam's Lake, we headed to Terre Haute, IN to visit Nana and Bobba. The next door neighbor had a pretty cool "Harley" that Gavin couldn't get enough of.

Gavin and his T!

Playing some tennis for the first time with cousin Tyler. Gavin really liked it and wasn't too bad at it either!

The family making some signs for the Wedding Party bus. Gavin wanted to help too!
From Terre Haute, IN we headed to Evansville, IN to attend the wedding of my oldest newphew Tyler and his bride Samantha! We had so much fun and were honored to be a part of the wedding...Gavin was the ring bearer.
Looking handsome for the rehearsal dinner!

Gavin and his NaNa

The Stone family with the groom! Gavin wasn't real happy about taking pics on the wedding day so we got what we could.

Gavin and the bride Sam.

Gavin did so awesome walking down the aisle like a big boy. There had to be about 300 people in the church and he was so calm and cool. He even stayed quiet through the entire ceremony. We were very proud of our lil guy & he looks so handsome too!

My sister Kelly and the groom (her son) Tyler.

The Buss Boys': Proud Dad Tim, Groom Tyler, and Bestman Kyle

Getting ready to dance dance dance! Gavin was a trooper and stayed up until midnight. He had a great time dancing, drinking soda, and running around like a mad man!!!
