For the past 3 years we have taken a trip with our Seattle family: The DeLeon's, The Houser's, and The Robertson's. This year we ventured over to Lake Entiat along the Columbia River in Eastern Washington guaranteeing us warm, sunny weather (the last 2 years we have had rain and "unusually" cold temps). Well the first few days didn't disappoint with highs in the 80's, but the streak would come to end the remaining days of our vaca and we had to pull out the sweatshirts and long pants. Oh well....we had a great time as always!

This part of Washington is known for it's crops of fruit trees. We were lucky to be there as the apples and pears were nearing their peak. We ventured to a local farm called Cider Works. We went on a tractor ride around the apple orchards and enjoyed some fresh warm apple cider. Gavin and Andrew loved it!

Each year we keep adding children to the mix! It is so fun to watch all the kids running around and having lots of fun....but to be honest there was lots of crying too!
